Christmas Fun

December 2012

We love Christmas time in our house, there is always something fun going on. This year I thought it would be fun to make candy houses out of rice crispie treats, it was a bit of a disaster but the flat ones turned out pretty cute and Skyler had a lot of fun making and eating them. Sky became aware that our tree didn't have a "shinning star" but it was okay because Santa was going to bring him one. Well, just a few days later there was a knock at the door it was the mail man asking for Skyler, Sky came to the door where he was told that the mailman had just come from the North Pole where Santa gave him a very special package to hand deliver to Skyler Allen. Sky was shocked! Surprised! and very excited, it was his shinning star and the packaging smelling like peppermint. We also had an Elf come to live with us he flies back to see Santa every night to report how well the kids are behaving but when he come home he sometimes gets into be bit of trouble, one night he ate all the cookies and was covered in crumbs another night he covered our whole tree with sparkling tinsel. We are so lucky to have him with us this season. We also went to see Christmas lights A LOT! this was maybe one of Skyler and Taylor's favorite things to do this year.

Pre School Christmas Party

Santa came to visit the kids at Skyler's Preschool Christmas party and handed our gifts to all the boys and girls even Taylor! Skyler was so excited to see Santa he believes with all his heart. He asked Santa for a flying Dragon (Dino) Taylor was scared and wouldn't sit on his lap.

Grammie and Pa came to visit on their wedding anniversary to play with the kids then that night Mitch and Frances came caroling at our house with Mitch playing the Tuba.

We cut down our tree at Davis Ranch in Slough House it was beautiful and we had the whole place to ourselves. We found the prefect tree after looking at HUNDREDS. We decorated it that night.
